This time, I'd like to introduce the CASANOVA&CO lineup for IRENISA's 25SS season.
The captivating fabrics, which I discussed in my previous blog and which express the space between "artificial" and "natural," have been skillfully worked on by designers Abe and Kobayashi, and as a result, the clothing's form and fabric are in high-quality synchronization again this year.
Although this has turned into a rather long blog, I hope you'll read it to the end.
First, let's start with the jacket and pant set-up, which is one of IRENISA's strengths.

Although we have been carrying these clothes for several seasons, we feel the high quality every time new items arrive.
The shoulder pads and waist shaping are not too stiff, and the outline, which contains richness within a sharp construction, exudes a unique IRENISA mood.
Looking closely, you can see that the sleeves are structured with high sleeve caps but suppress bulk.
Ultra-thin shoulder pads are used to achieve both comfort and a beautiful outline.
The symbolic modified shawl collar is gently folded back.
It's a piece of clothing that only IRENISA can create, with its delicate and meticulous construction that conveys both tension and a rich atmosphere. Truly.
This outline is just too beautiful.
And this season, a skirt has also appeared.

The bold among you can even wear a three-piece suit in the brand's signature style.
Although I haven't taken many photos, it's quite intricately made.
It's a really cool piece, so if you're interested, I definitely want you to try it on.
There are two types of pants that can be paired with it.
Wide straight and semi-flared.

As I often tell customers in the store, if you're looking for slacks, you really should try IRENISA.
Because the silhouette and fabric match so perfectly.
Unless you dislike wide-leg pants, I highly recommend trying on these slacks.
It's truly a testament to the designers' craftsmanship; the posture and the sway of the fabric when you walk are simply captivating. Really.
Also, it's worth mentioning that IRENISA started offering women's clothing this year, which is a bit late to the game.
The two designers both have backgrounds in women's fashion, you see.
So, of course, the lineup is cute and cool.
With the women's line, the pants now come in a smaller size 1.
For someone like me, who is short and has a thin waist, this was fantastic news.
Even at 165cm and 50kg, I could wear size 1, and the size balance is suitable for women too.
It's really great to see women wearing IRENISA pants.
I think femininity and the IRENISA mood go incredibly well together.
Returning to the topic, there's also the semi-flared style.

It tapers gently to the knee and flares gently from the knee to the hem.
The slightly shallower rise and the beautiful inner leg construction, which is a characteristic of IRENISA, maximally enhance the wearer's leg structure.
Personally, I'm ready to wear more standard-width pants, so I think this timing and width are perfect.
The subtle flare is also very IRENISA-like.
The feeling is closer to wearing standard slacks than wearing flared pants.
Also, the grey fabric introduced in the previous blog is also available in a semi-flared style.

This fabric has more stiffness, giving the silhouette a sharper appearance.
I don't have many good memories with light gray pants, but these pants, with their deep color, stiff fabric, and crisp silhouette, really caught my eye.
The waist construction is quite excellent.
The front body features a clean design with no waistband, as if only the belt loops are floating.
The waistband emerges from the back and is designed with a curved shape like a high back.
It's clear how well-thought-out the fabric transitions and stitching display are.
And then, cinch it with the brand's excellent original side adjusters.
Then you will experience a comfortable fit, feeling the pants resting on your lower back.
I feel that the core material around the waist this season is somehow firmer than usual, and the internal specifications are also very high quality.
And of course, there are new styles this season!
First, let's start with that stripe.

Long shirt.
Personally, I really like the style of wearing a cool long shirt with shorts in midsummer.
The brand has been making long-length tops in previous seasons as well.
Due to the length, there's a generous amount of fabric, which really makes IRENISA's form-fitting design stand out.
Moreover, this shirt actually uses a lot of fabric.
If you look closely at the chest area, you'll see several tucks.
Neatly folded.
These tucks extend down to about the second button from the bottom of the front, from which point the fabric opens up.
It's a piece of clothing with IRENISA's characteristic design, creating drapery using tucks.
Also, the stripes on the sleeves are diagonal, aren't they?
This is because the fabric on the sleeves is cut on the bias.
This dramatically enhances the three-dimensional form of the arm.
This shirt doesn't truly reveal its essence when it's simply hanging.

And there are two more styles in the same material.

TRAINING JACKET

The TRAINING JACKET is making its debut at our store.
While it is a jacket, the fabric is dramatically cool, so I think it would feel great worn directly over a tank top.
Countless tucks in the back allow the fabric to stand on its own, creating a corrugated drape.
Since it flares towards the hem, it's best to cinch the hem adjuster tightly to create a rounded silhouette in the body.
The fabric folded by the tucks releases at the body, connecting to the wavy fabric, like gathers, created by the cinching.
Within that drape, those stripes emerge.
It's a very organic-looking piece of clothing.
Since it's a light fabric for summer, the front zipper is also quite small.
It has a good balance, and the fabric won't lose its shape due to the weight of the zipper.
Hmmmm, it's well-thought-out.
The last piece in the striped fabric collection is pants.

I think wearing all black in summer is a bold style, but this black stripe set, both top and bottom, is incredibly cool.
And it's super comfortable.

A superb fabric that combines coolness and elegance, as introduced in the previous blog.
And the pants are a new model.
I felt that the comfortable fitting, with a thigh width of 40cm for size 2, and the balance of tension and relaxation from IRENISA's beautiful tailoring, significantly elevated the elegance of the fabric.
IRENISA's clothes pay an incredible amount of attention to the shifting shadows that appear when you move.
This is supported by the color scheme of the fabric, which I introduced in the previous blog, where the two designers shape the fabric's undulations that create shadows.
This meticulous attention greatly influences the demeanor when wearing IRENISA's clothes, and it adds depth to every gesture.
I still believe that IRENISA's clothes work on and reflect the wearer's inner self.
I couldn't introduce them all in the previous blog, but we also have knitwear and nylon items.

SHORT LENGTH LACE KNIT

As the name suggests, it's a short-length cotton knit.
On me, at 165cm, the length just covers my belt.
The neckline is a relaxed boat neck, and the sleeves and hem have very narrow, loose ribs.
Every season, IRENISA's knitwear offers a different level of comfort and individuality compared to MOTHERHAND artisan and nonnotte.
I think this knit would also look good on women.
Given its three-dimensional knit pattern and loose knit density, I imagine it can create various looks depending on layering and how the neckline is styled.
For those who saw the brand's runway photos, the nylon pieces probably left a strong impression.

FREEFORM PANTS

A powerful piece packed with details.
Since it's called FREEFORM, it's naturally full of gimmicks.
The part with many protruding pockets on the outside is docked with zippers at the front and back.
So you can detach it like this.
If you don't unbutton the suspenders, you can wear it hanging.
When completely detached, a wide nylon pant with a beautiful silhouette appears.
There are also gimmicks on the back.
This nylon belt and buckle.
The nylon belt extends to the hem of the pants, so if you shorten it with the buckle...
The heel is pulled up, creating a voluminous silhouette in the pants and ripples in the nylon fabric equivalent to the amount shortened.
Since it's a nylon fabric with a unique luster, when these ripples are created, a depth unlike typical nylon materials emerges even more.
I tried my best to capture it in photos, but it was impossible.
You really need to see this fabric in person.
Because it's an IRENISA pattern.
The silhouette is also truly beautiful.
The quality is different from so-called "tech" items where zippers are just accents, as these incorporate gimmicks on top of a fundamentally well-constructed design.
It's more elaborately crafted than previous seasons.
And finally, the last piece for this time.

HOODED COAT

The HOODED COAT also uses the same nylon fabric as before.
The coat features a highly skilled tailoring technique where tucks are meticulously used on the back to consolidate the fabric volume, allowing the material to naturally stand on its own and create a drape as it approaches the hem.
A total of 10 tucks are used to gather the fabric and create the drape.
Moreover, it's sewn beautifully flat.
A gradient from clearly "straight lines" to organic "curves."
I'll say it again and again, but it's truly something only the two designers could achieve with their craftsmanship.
Drawstrings are threaded through the waist and hem, allowing you to change the overall shape of the coat by cinching them at different points.
Also, the sleeves and front body have "holes" similar to the works of Lucio Fontana, which served as inspiration for this season's theme.
Am I the only one who feels a three-dimensional depth in the fabric because of these "holes"?
The brand also uses its unique patterns for outerwear made of nylon materials.
The construction around the shoulders, in particular, is quite intricate, and Mr. Abe himself explained it to me directly last year, and it's truly incredibly well-thought-out.
If I were to try and explain it in writing alone, it would be too complex and confusing, and I feel my descriptive abilities are lacking, so I will talk about it in-store with the two designers.
And so, I've introduced a part of CASANOVA&CO's 2025SS lineup.
At the store, you'll be able to see a wider variety of clothes than what I've introduced here.
Also, on the first and second days, March 1st and March 2nd, there will be "something special" available only at the store.
