Hello.

Thank you to everyone who always visits our online store and Instagram.

And to all of you, hello there.

My name is Noguchi from CASANOVA&CO.

We created this space with the hope that it would provide something new that everyone could enjoy.

For now, both sites share the common theme of being made up of photographs and text, but here I would like to introduce some wonderful clothes from a slightly different perspective than //subjunction.

The title has not been decided yet, and the form is still far from complete, but I hope you will enjoy watching it change and transition, just like the seasons.

//It's shorter than subjunction, so I hope you can read it quickly.

Now, let's get straight to the point.

HERILL

Ramie High gauge crew neck

Color: Beige, Olive

size_1,2

This is the main dish this time.

This is a ramie knit from HERILL.

The delivery itself was around February, so I'm sure many of you have already seen it in stores, but now that the temperature is starting to get more realistic, I'd like to take another look.

Many people may have a strong image of cashmere when they hear the name HERILL.

Since it's not a specialized brand, that only applies to autumn and winter.

Of course they use cashmere, but I think they also make clothes with other materials that are very well thought out. HERILL

It has a casual look, so your tastes may vary...

Among all the HERILL products, the Lamy series is one that the brand has been proposing in spring and summer since its early days.

So, I think some of you may already know about it or have it.

However, this is the first time this season for our store.

Let me introduce you

The fabric is the biggest feature of this garment.

I think you can get an idea of how well breezy the space is just by looking at the photos.

You can almost read the text on the quality tag through it.

As expected, when you actually wear it, it's quite cool.

Even though you are not exposed to direct sunlight, you can feel the wind directly on your skin.

This makes the wind feel cooler on your skin.

Just imagine.

In the scorching heat of the sun.

When I go into the shade to take a rest, the wind feels a little cold.

It's like that feeling.

I'll say it again.

This is so damn cool.

It's so much more comfortable than wearing short sleeves with the sun hitting your bare skin directly.

However, that doesn't mean that any material or fabric will do as long as it allows air to pass through.

The lightness of the ramie material and its gritty texture against the skin make

When the wind blows through it, it feels soft and fluffy, staying away from your skin, making it a very comfortable garment.

Typical summer knitwear is

The weave is open to allow for better air circulation.

To compensate for this, materials such as linen and washi paper are used with thick threads to complement the durability.

I think a lot of people think like this.

However, HERILL uses extremely fine, high-quality ramie fibers that are twisted in a special way to prevent the yarn itself from becoming fuzzy.

On the other hand, the benefit of not feeling sticky or clinging even when you sweat is maximized.

Ramie yarn that has been carefully crafted in this way over a long period of time creates a supple roughness, and we think you will be surprised at how comfortable it is when worn in midsummer.

However, this ramie knit from HERILL,

When I talk to people in the store, the most common thing I hear is,

"What should I wear inside?"

That is it.

After all, the clothes are that transparent.

I'm sure there are many of you who are wondering what to do.

But to sum up, honestly, I think anything is possible.

It can be a tucked top, a short sleeve T-shirt, or a long sleeve T-shirt.

Whether it's a patterned or printed T-shirt.

Collared shirts and polo shirts might be a bit different...

As long as you don't aim to miss like that, you'll be fine. I think.

Customer: "What should I wear inside?"

Me: "This can be anything!"

Usually, I say, "(Actually, if you combine these,) you can do anything!"
That's what I was trying to say,

Thinking about it again, I realized that I was being a bit reckless, so I'd like to use this opportunity to experiment with different combinations.

I hope we can expand on the image together by replacing it in our minds with things you have in your hands.

First up, the classic white T-shirt version

HERILL Ramie High gauge crew neck × White T

Here's what they're wearing:

I am 178cm and 60kg and the size in parentheses is the size I am wearing.

・KNIT: HERILL
Ramie High gauge crew neck Beige (1)

・T-SHIRT: BODHI
MIDDLEWEIGHT COTTON CASHMERE TEE WHITE (1)

・PANTS: Graphpaper
Solotex Twill Wide Chef Shorts C.GRAY (F)

This is what it looks like when you wear a classic white T-shirt.

The material is cotton cashmere, making it a BODHI masterpiece.

If the T-shirt underneath is a light color, the unevenness of the ramie thread is emphasized.

It looks light, but the unevenness creates depth and breaks the monotony. It feels like a rhythm is born.

I really like this feeling.

And sure enough, it's really cool when you wear it.

I think it was about 26 degrees when I took this photo today.

It's scary to think that the temperature could rise by nearly 10 degrees from here in midsummer, but although it's not that it won't be hot, I think it would be comfortable to wear.

For reference, there is also a long-sleeved T-shirt version made from the same BODHI cotton cashmere.

The ribbing on the BODHI long sleeves was too tight, so when I layered them up, they got a bit bulky...

A thinner garment that is not too thick will bring out the beautiful HERILL silhouette.

I knew this, but I think short sleeves are best for the coming season, considering the temperature.

However, one option would be to layer it with long sleeves on slightly chilly days in April, September, and October.

Next, instead of a white T-shirt, try something darker in tone, like this.

HERILL Ramie High gauge crew neck × Black T-shirt

・KNIT: HERILL
Ramie High gauge crew neck Beige (1)

・T-SHIRT: nonnotte
Standard T-shirt Meteorite (3)

・PANTS: Graphpaper
Solotex Twill Wide Chef Shorts C.GRAY (F)

Nothing has been changed except for the T-shirt underneath.

But it does change the impression quite a bit.

In contrast to the light impression of white, dark tones suddenly appear heavier.

The color of the ramie knit itself also appears darker.

For those who are averse to the very phenomenon of transparency, black may actually be a better choice than white.

Well, I don't know if people who don't like things being see-through in the first place are going to be bothered by this...

The width of the body and arms are generous, with a strong curve that extends to the tight ribbing.

I think it's a balance that's very HERILL-like.

In the summer, I think we tend to wear a lot of loose clothing, so this kind of ribbed balance really adds some definition.

Even when paired with casual shorts, it avoids looking boyishly active or sloppy like loungewear.

Very excellent.

HERILL Ramie High gauge crew neck × printed T

・KNIT: HERILL
Ramie High gauge crew neck Olive (1)

・T-SHIRT: mister it.
Klaudia-T-shirt-aft white (40)

・PANTS: NICENESS
"JACK" Mohair Chambray Slacks BEIGE (S)

Next up is the printed T-shirt.

This is a T-shirt from mister it. that arrived the other day.

Also, from here on out, I'm wearing Olive for the ramie knit.

Layering them like this helps to neutralize the print's presence.

"I don't really like wearing it by itself..."

Try wearing a T-shirt with a nice print or balanced fit underneath your ramie knit.

I think this will open up new possibilities for your T-shirts.

Since I was wearing a printed T-shirt underneath, I went for a more subdued pair of slacks.

I'm not the type of person who thinks about coordination based on theory,

"Let's keep things balanced and keep our pants clean."

"How about some sandals instead?"

That's how I feel. Because it's summer.

I hope everyone can enjoy that balance, and I think it's quite interesting.

Just by changing one piece, you can see many changes and discoveries.

Also, the ribbing on the sleeves looks like this.

The ribbing is also made with ramie yarn.

It is made to be quite long, but it's best to just squish it in without thinking too much about it.

This brings out the distinctive roundness of HERILL even more beautifully.

This...

Something like this.

In this photo, I'm wearing an OLDE HOMESTEADER SLEEVELESS SHIRT (my personal item) underneath, but since I had the chance to take the photo, I've also included an image of me wearing it over a tank top.

The pants are my personal brand, HERILL.

It originally had paint splashes on it, but I wore it too heavy and the paint flew everywhere.

It's a favorite.

Yes. It goes without saying, but tank tops are the coolest.

I think this would be quite comfortable in the middle of summer.

The wind also passes through the armpit area, which controls body temperature, so that alone is likely to change how you feel.

And in terms of appearance, I don't think it will be too unpleasant.

My hair is in the way and I can't see my neck and shoulders...

In the past few years, it seems that summer knitwear, which focuses more on summer, has gradually become more popular.

Few things combine such comfort and elegance as this one.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I think it is influenced by the appearance of the rough stitches and the thickness of the yarn.

I think HERILL has overcome that admirably.

On top of that, it has a form that is characteristic of HERILL and is carefully made.

It's perfect for summer and I think it's a piece that you can enjoy during the summer.

If you are interested, please come and experience it for yourself.
