Hello.

This is Noguchi from CASANOVA&CO.

I've been posting every day, but I'd like to thank everyone for taking the time to read my posts.

Following on from yesterday, today I would like to introduce some items I picked out from the discount sale of 24SS items.

This time, we will introduce summer knitwear from SEAN SUEN that can be worn even in the middle of summer.

SEAN SUEN

v-neck jumper

color _ black

Size: S, M

Here it is.

The word "jumper" in the product name also seems to mean a pullover sweater in British English.

In other words, a V-neck pullover sweater.

It's just as it looks.

However, this is a piece that definitely has SEAN SUEN's signature elements.

First of all, I'm sure there are many people who don't know what SEAN SUEN is.

The brand is of Chinese nationality and is based in Beijing.

However, the collection will be presented in Paris.

It was not an unknown up-and-coming brand, but rather a regular at presenting collections in Paris.

The fact that they can continue to perform shows in such venues is a testament to their talent.

In recent years, it seems that brands with roots in Asia, such as Korea and China, have become increasingly internationalized, but SEAN SUEN is a brand that has been fighting in its home city of Paris since before the dawn of time.

It is not a widely known brand in Japan, but I would say it has the image of an "anonymous maison brand that no one knows about yet."

One of the brand's signature pieces is this shredded, destroyed knitwear.

This is the same series that we also had autumn/winter versions of in our store for the 23AW season.

The AW 23 knitwear was incredibly tight, with short turtlenecks and rather slouchy, oversized pieces, so some people may have had the impression that it was a bit too avant-garde.

However, this spring/summer collection is relatively loose-fitting, but it's the most comfortable to wear yet. It's also black in color.

So this time I went for an all black look.

I like wearing dark clothes, but I don't often dress in all black.

The nuance of the color "black" can change completely depending on the fabric and material.

I don't like the idea of it being too disjointed, so I think it would be better to add a "black" with a completely different look to create more contrast.

I think there are not only white, but hundreds of shades of black as well.

SEAN SUEN's v-neck jumper is based on cotton and linen, but also makes good use of synthetic fibers, giving it a unique luster and transparency that gives it a light, yet not too heavy, black color.

I think it's easy to wear during this season because it doesn't look too heavy.

The fabric is fairly thin and has a crisp texture, so even if you are a little sweaty and it touches your skin, it won't feel sticky or uncomfortable.

Just put it on over a tank top or T-shirt. I think it will be very comfortable to wear.

The matching Poly Mesh Cargo Shorts from NEAT are made from a fabric inspired by Puma's old training wear, with green mesh visible from behind the black mesh, giving the black a completely new look.

This is also interesting.

When I was a university student, I often looked at overseas street snap magazines, and there was a photo that seemed really fresh to me at the time.

I don't have the magazine with me right now, so I have to try and vividly describe the photos from my memory.

The slender black woman was wearing brightly patterned shorts that looked like basketball practice shorts (I think they were called basketball shorts) and a colorful knit top with some kind of strange pattern.

She was wearing a number of African-style ethnic wooden accessories around her neck and waist, and had a big smile on her face.

I'm not sure exactly where the photo was taken, but I remember it was a place that reminded me of an African city, choking on the dry air and dust.

At the time I thought the photo was really cool.

Not only was the black woman's outfit cool, but I also felt like I could somehow see the correlation between how she lives in that city.

He probably doesn't play basketball, but he's wearing basketball shorts, I don't know if they're Nike, Adidas, or Puma.

Wear colorful knitwear, following your own sense of color.

And wear accessories that are reminiscent of your roots.

This time, I would like to give my answer to this style as someone who was born and raised in Japan.

...It's not such a grand story.

Let's get back to SEAN SUEN.

As is typical of imported brands, the sleeves are a little long.

The width of the garment is not particularly wide, but there is plenty of room for air to pass through.

The ribs in various places are not too tight, so they create just the right amount of buildup.

I think that there are no other summer clothes than summer knits that have ribbing on the sleeves and hems that create a rounded look, so I really like summer knit styles as they always bring a fresh feeling to me.

The only parts that are torn are the ribbed parts of the neck, hem, and cuffs, so the body has not been destroyed.

If you overdo it, it will come off as too "realistic."

By carefully distressing only the ribs, I think it is truly elevated as a design.

I think the impression of this will vary greatly depending on the brand's sense.

In that respect, SEAN SUEN is still fashionable and exudes decadent beauty.

I think choosing an anonymous brand is a kind of statement of intent.

"I'm attracted to these kinds of things." It's my own will and feeling, not influenced by anyone else.

Being comfortable during the summer is the most important thing during this season, but I also think that wearing SEAN SUEN can be an opportunity to realize something, in terms of believing in yourself.

I would be happy if you could take a look.
