Hello.

This is Noguchi from CASANOVA&CO.

As we announced yesterday, we are now offering a discount sale on 24SS items starting today.

A lot of people came right away.

Thank you very much everyone.

Today, we would like to introduce some carefully selected items that are on sale.

So, I picked out two sleeveless pieces from amachi.

First, this.

Phenomenal Check No Sleeve

Color: Off White × Brown

size_3,4,5

A sleeveless top from amachi. made from this season's iconic cotton linen checked fabric.

Excluding innerwear, I think that sleeveless clothing can be enjoyed in three ways: by wearing something with sleeves underneath, by wearing something with sleeves on top, or by wearing it sleeveless.

The armholes of this sleeveless top are not designed to be that wide, so I think it would be better to wear something with sleeves on top or to wear it sleeveless, rather than wearing something with sleeves underneath.

So this time, the photo shows me wearing Toogood's DRAUGHTSMAN SHIRT.

Some people may find it hard to imagine layering a woven sleeveless top with a woven shirt, but I think this look is not bad either.

Once the cotton linen has been washed and its look has softened, the woven fabric x woven fabric feel will become more subdued and it may look good when worn over clothing with sleeves.

The DRAUGHTSMAN SHIRT from toogood has a good width, so it doesn't get in the way easily, which may have been a good thing.

The theme of this amachi. collection is "Phenology."

It examines how the behavior and cycles of humans, animals and plants change in response to the changing seasons, drawing on a variety of academic disciplines and extensive fieldwork.

Amachi. creates each collection based on their childhood experiences, academic approach and thorough research, and expresses natural phenomena through clothing construction.

I think the approach of seasonal studies is very much linked to the way Yoshimoto-san approaches clothing at amachi.

This collection was created by Yoshimoto with a focus on phenology.

This fabric was one of the iconic fabrics in this collection.

The zipper pattern, which produces a pattern at a regular rhythm (cycle), is a fabric that expresses the cycles and interactions of nature.

The base fabric is made of a cotton warp and linen weft, with threads of different colours and twist counts used to create a checkered pattern with a three-dimensional rhythm.

The irregular cut, with the fabric direction shifted, is a major part of the identity of this sleeveless garment and is a point that really gives the garment a change of rhythm.

As mentioned above, the armholes are relatively narrow.

However, it also seems like it would be suitable for slipping under a jacket.

The neck has a button opening.

But this isn't a deep gap either.

Although it is sleeveless, it doesn't have the typical sloppy impression.

On the other hand, it has a clean look even when worn by itself, and even though it's sleeveless, it opens with buttons and the cutting makes use of the rhythm of the fabric, so it doesn't feel over the top, but I think it's an incredibly creative style.

I don't have many photos of it worn by itself, but it looks something like this.

And then he puts the shirt on again.

I think the balance of the width and arms of the DRAUGHTSMAN SHIRT has a beauty that is not artificial, but is perfectly balanced.

I like it very much.

The pants are from NICENESS. "JACK". They are mohair blend pleated slacks.

A sax blue shirt and pale-colored worsted slacks.

Although her bare feet are light, her shoes are Post Production loafers, which are also very elegant.

If you just look at the shirt and pants, you get the impression that they are perfectly balanced and show the perfect upbringing of a good student, but when you see the amachi. check pattern, it suddenly takes on an organic look.

It feels like it brings out a sense of humanity.

I think that even those who think wearing it alone might be too difficult will be able to try wearing it this way.

And here's the other one.

Swallow Knit Vest

color _ Beige

size_5

"Sleeveless", "vest", "tank top", "sleeveless"...

We are skillful in using them differently without even realizing it.

This is the “best”.

When it comes to a vest, I think it's customary to wear something with sleeves underneath even if it's sleeveless, so I tried that.

The shirt is Nobuyuki Matsui's Long Tuck Top.

The pants are COMOLI's linen double cross drawstring pants.

The swallow embroidery was handcrafted by the designer himself.

Swallows are the only animals in nature that voluntarily enter into human habitations.

I'd never thought of it that way, but swallows certainly do like to build their nests under eaves, without us even realising it.

Considering the risks to their own lives, it would seem natural for them to set up bases in places where they are out of sight of predators and other animals, but swallows choose to live in places where they can be seen by people.

This collection focuses on humans as key figures who can unravel the mysteries of human-animal interactions.

Not a parson though.

This is a piece that expresses itself quite directly among amachi.'s designs.

This hand-embroidered design depicts a dynamic swallow, ready to take flight at any moment.

When you look closely, you can see that the color expression, the pitch and direction of each stitch, etc. are very intricate.

This sense of depth is created by combining machine embroidery and handcrafted expression.

In terms of the shape of the garment, the armholes are wide, so there seems to be a wide range of room for what to wear underneath.

The neck is also V-shaped, so the collar looks nice when paired with a shirt, but it also looks great with a cut-and-sew top.

Actually, in the brand's look, there is a photo where this vest is layered over the sleeveless top mentioned earlier, which was an ultra-C option of "wearing a sleeveless garment over a sleeveless garment," but this time I went with it this way because I wanted you to see the balance in which each piece works.

I think that whether a V-neck vest looks like a typical rich kid or not depends on the armholes, neck opening, and length, but this one has the perfect balance. There are also swallows around, so I'm relieved.

It gives a slightly nomadic impression, quite different from the previous style.

Well, my hair was freed, so that may have been a factor.

I didn't do this on purpose, I just left my hair tied up because my hand got caught in something while I was getting changed...

The other day, I received a time-honored hairbrush as a birthday present from all the staff, so from now on you can watch as my hair becomes smoother and smoother.

Sorry, I got off track.

The material is 90% cotton and 10% linen.

It has a dry touch and is free of oil, and the mesh has just enough space to allow the breeze to pass through, giving it a light appearance.

When choosing knitwear for the spring and summer seasons, it's important to consider not only whether it's physically breathable, but also whether it looks too hot.

The Nobuyuki Matsui shirt I'm wearing underneath is quite long, but the fabric is thin and light so I think you can layer it without feeling uncomfortable.

The amachi. vest itself is not tightly ribbed, so when you wear a shirt underneath it doesn't look bunched up around the waist even if you don't tuck it in.

It's going to be hot to tuck in your shirt in the coming season, so you'll be wearing a vest over your top, so try to keep it as open as possible.

If we look at the sleevelessness in a positive way, perhaps wearing it (fieldwork) will open up new perspectives on both the changing temperature and its correlation with the clothes we wear with it.

Just as phenology is true, so is the amachi. brand.

I had hoped to read a little more quickly today, but I ended up dragging my feet a bit.

Next time I'll try to make it more compact.

If you are interested, I would be very happy if you could take a look.
