Today, BIEK VERSTAPPEN.
BIEK VERSTAPPEN is produced in a Dutch atelier by a small team led by Biek himself.
It's not like it's "the fashion" brand, so new items don't appear in the collections one after another, but I think that's a great thing.
Because, you know, from the point of view of the creator, when a brand comes out with new things one after another, to be honest, it's actually a little bit off from the original intention, and they try this and that, and they make all kinds of clothes, and in the end, they wonder what the brand really wants to do, what they want to convey.
Of course, I think it's important to strike a balance between what changes with the times and what stays the same.
So, as I mentioned earlier, the clothes that BIEK VERSTAPPEN makes don't change much at all.
To put it concretely, it feels like Beak (a woman) is making things she likes and is good at.
So the sizes are not large at all, and especially in our store, we offer sizes starting from XS, so depending on the item, and I must say, there are some people who are physically unable to wear it.
But, to begin with, although I would like everyone to see this type of brand, I think it's a bit of a hurdle to get everyone to see it, so I think it's more suitable for people who aren't too big and are a little slender, to around medium build.
There are several styles within the brand, but basically, the style of clothes that I like from BIEK VERSTAPPEN is,
The top is tight and vertical, but the outline is away from the body so it doesn't show off your body lines.
The bottoms are wide and cropped, again hiding the lines of the legs.
That's it.

This time, due to various circumstances, we have a lineup of 5 types rather than many variations, but we still have multiple sizes available, and we think that anyone who likes them will definitely consider BIEK VERSTAPPEN.

hooded overshirt

First, this.
Although it's called a shirt, this is definitely a coat.
However, since it's made of 100% cotton corduroy, it's not too heavy an outerwear piece.
I believe the corduroy fabric itself was Italian corduroy.
The thick ridges make it soft and dense. It feels a little heavy, but I don't think it's bad as an outerwear.
The back of the dress moves away from the body from around the shoulder blades and falls straight down.
Compared to the BIEK VERSTAPPEN clothes we have carried in our store so far, this one is the widest, but it still isn't oversized at all.
Because it's an outerwear item, it's expected that there will be a little thickness from the inner layer underneath, but even so, this is probably just a matter of balancing the size to create the silhouette of the garment.
I think it's a coat with a very nice shape.
By the way, it is a single-layered design with no lining, but the front part is made with the same outer fabric as the main part.
I think that people who are familiar with BIEK VERSTAPPEN have the image of it as an artisan dyeing brand.
That's why all of the clothes are dyed using original techniques in the atelier, but this corduroy is fabric dyed.
It is constructed from dyed corduroy, and the change in fabric creates a slight gradation of color and hue.
I am 167cm tall and weigh 52kg and wear size S.
Currently, size M is already sold out, but I think size S would be the right balance for someone around 170cm tall.
Considering the fabric, construction, and dyeing used by the brand, it looks cool, but the coat doesn't look cool at all.
I think it's probably quite rare to come across a coat with this kind of balance.

100% wool pants.
I'm wearing size XS.
First, the shape of these pants.
It fits where it needs to, and then we draw a form that is designed by the brand.
It's a really cool shape, isn't it?
That's so cool.
I tend to like short pants, so it might be difficult for those who like longer pants, but even so, I hope you know that there are so many great pants out there.
The fabric is also amazing.
I seem to remember Italian fabrics being mentioned at the exhibition, and of course they are available at SUPER XX and the like, but it seems like it's no longer a competition of numbers like that.
It's 100% wool, but I think 100 out of 100 people would feel that it's a very high quality fabric when they touch it or see it in person.
The fabric is black and grey with stripes of purple and orange.
The fabric itself is made from yarn-dyed fabric, but it appears to be further dyed in the atelier.
This makes the fabric extremely high quality, and is further enhanced by the texture of BIEK VERSTAPPEN.
A combination of luxury and earthy flavor.
These pants are really cool.
The waist is fitted with thick linen tape for adjustment.
The fabric is combed and dense, but I'd say it would be very comfortable to wear from now until the winter arrives.
It is unlined, but feels incredibly comfortable against the skin.
Well, if the temperature drops and it gets cold, I'll just wear a patch and it'll be fine. Probably.
Judging from the look of these pants, I imagine they would look really cool in the winter if worn with a sweater on the top.
Well, customers have asked me if this is autumn/winter, but that's no longer the case in our store.
If we were to compete on seasonality or price, we would never be able to compete with Mass Zone, so instead, we offer products that are difficult for other brands to reproduce, so enjoy those. lol

A long shirt and pants set.
The base of the fabric is a camel-like color, and it has been dyed with a resin-based dye.
This means that the original color remains on the back, resulting in uneven dyeing.
At the time of the photo shoot, the XS size for both the top and bottom were already sold out, so I am wearing one size up, the S size.
Therefore, if someone with a slightly larger build than me were to wear a size S, I expect they would look even better.

It's hard to believe that I'm wearing 100% cotton clothing.
The texture of the fabric, the design of the clothes and the style of the brand.
At the same time, the internal construction speaks to the durability of the clothes, giving anyone who buys BIEK VERSTAPPEN clothes a great sense of security.
The sleeves are sharp compared to the width of the body and overall volume.
And even though there isn't much extra room, the body floats and separates from the body as intended.
By the way, the side seams between the front and back of the garment feature pockets that utilize the seams.
These pants also feature a wide, cropped fit.
Apparently Beak had been researching how to make a cool belt buckle for some time, but this is the first time the buckle has appeared on the garment.
It has a slightly rusty finish, which matches very well with the texture of BIEK VERSTAPPEN's clothing.
Also, rusty copper rivets have been hammered into the pocket openings, which is another feature unique to BIEK VERSTAPPEN.
The coexistence of flowing form and overflowing fabric mood.
As mentioned above, the fabric itself is 100% cotton and made with double-ply yarn, but it feels surprisingly soft and light despite that material.
They make pants out of it, so it's not thin at all.
This fabric has a natural firmness to it, which I think helps shape the silhouette of the clothes.

This is the last one.
This is the same shape as the 100% cotton long shirt we saw earlier, but made from a different fabric.
I think the quality of BIEK VERSTAPPEN's long shirts is incredibly high, so I have featured them in every season that I have carried the brand so far.
Also featured in the brand's current collection is the unevenly dyed 100% cotton item mentioned earlier.
So, this Bordeaux-like color and this fabric with a distinctive touch, It was available as a limited edition fabric for a women's blouson.
This burgundy wool fabric has a slightly felt-like texture and is fine-grained, yet has a glossy, drapeable, and firm feel.
I thought that when combined with a long shirt, it would create a very elegant look and also a highly unique piece of clothing.
So, I checked with the brand and they gave me the OK, so it can be worn as an outer coat or as a long shirt at times, and I think clothes with this vibe are something that would be difficult for a men's brand to achieve.
The clothes have very sharp shapes.
There isn't a lot of white space, but the fabric is away from the body, creating a BIEK VERSTAPPEN silhouette.
Most of the stitching is not exposed on the outside and most of the items are stitched using a flat stitch.
Furthermore, even though it is a shirt, it has high sleeves like a jacket.
Flowing fabric and luxurious feel.
It's not something that everyone can wear, but for those who like it, I'm sure it's a long shirt that they'll love.
Small armholes make your arms look slim and sharp.
It's the brand with the thinnest arms that we carry in our store.
However, I think there are some people who will find both the comfort of wearing it and the way it looks.

Although it's called a shirt, this is the most expensive BIEK VERSTAPPEN item that we carry in our store from this collection.
