I was writing this blog while arranging them in the store, and it's truly magnificent.
I can feel the atmosphere of the store gradually changing.
The texture of each fabric and the stitching of the seams only become visible when you look closely.
It shouldn't be possible to properly examine them from a distance.
However, from Yamauchi's clothes, which are created with such incredible attention to detail, something that cannot be fully described by words like "mood" or "aura" is emitted. Seeing how the entire atmosphere of CASANOVA&CO is gradually changing right now, I'm learning a lot about how clothes can achieve this.
And I am confident that wearing such items will definitely empower oneself.
I'm talking about something spiritual, but I've really been feeling this lately.
Last week, at the daisuke tanabe "syvash" event, we introduced Mr. Tanabe, who starts making clothes by setting a collection theme, conducting fieldwork and preliminary research, and then drawing his own designs.
That is one of Mr. Tanabe's approaches.
Yamauchi's approach to making clothes follows a different thought process and design process, but in other words, I believe it is the ultimate form of a collection brand that values Japan's proud technologies and traditions.
That's why they disclose who, where, and how all the weaving, sewing, dyeing, and other processes are carried out.
In this blog, I don't think I can or should introduce the entire 25AW lineup for various reasons, but please come to the store, try on everything, and ask all your questions.
Along with the store's appearance, I'll introduce a few items from the lineup.
Yamauchi's ultra-heavy special, symbolizing autumn/winter, the "3WAY docking series."
For 25AW, there will be three types, including new models, and even within those, the dyeing method and fabric differ depending on the color.
Two outerwear pieces, one called "outer" and the other "inner," are intricately and seamlessly docked.
Of course, both the "outer" and "inner" can be worn individually.
The sewing specifications boast a perfect beauty that feels unnatural for something sewn by hand, like clothes drawn by trendy generative AI.
I even feel that as long as Yamauchi continues to make clothes, a singularity will not come to the fashion industry.
The 100% ramie salt-shrunk shirt, which we also introduced in 25SS.
White ramie salt-shrunk fabric is incredibly cool.
Wool cashmere textile with "urban dyeing."
This fabric appears in various garments, but the expressions differ due to different dyeing methods.
However, all of them are fabrics with extraordinary allure and dignity.
There's also a series like this, using ribbed fabric, which is normally treated as an "accessory" in clothing.
The patterns are designed by reverse calculation from the limited fabric width.
Since Arimatsu shibori is applied there, it creates a very three-dimensional look in combination with the unevenness of the ribs.
Surprisingly for Yamauchi, there's also a check pattern like this.
The "incode lock series" that Yamauchi has been working on for the past two years is also available.
And "those" pants are also here.
While not as incredibly heavy as the ultra-heavy melton from 24AW, these trousers have a reassuringly appropriate weight for autumn and winter.
