In parallel with the TT event, good things are arriving one after another, so I would like to introduce them to you.
First of all, ARCHIVIO JMRibot.
I think there are people in Japan who know about it as a global artisan brand.
We had been talking about it since the previous spring/summer season (2023 SS), but due to various circumstances, we would like to introduce it to everyone at our store.

Entrance to the ARCHIVIO JMRibot showroom in Paris.
Unlike Japan, Paris has a lot of old buildings, but the ARCHIVIO JMRibot showroom had a particularly unique atmosphere.
Once inside, you will go up to the second floor by a very old-looking wooden staircase.
When you enter the showroom, you are already in the world of brands.
I feel like I'm living in a time that doesn't seem like it's 2023. lol
The showroom really reflected the mood of the brand.
Well, the other person is Italian, and I can only speak Italian at the level of Ciao, so this time I had a Japanese agent attend to me, who decides which stores in Japan will carry the product.
ARCHIVIO JMRibot is creating a collection based on the fictional character ``Archivio JM Ribot.''
The overall feature is that it has a very old mood, but everything has the atmosphere of Archivio.
All production is done in an atelier that produces stage costumes in Italy.
There is a huge collection lineup, but the clothes that become products are carefully tailored even if they are quite irregular.
Despite being a globally recognized brand in this genre, they listen to our requests for just a few pieces and produce very small quantities.
Well, it's unique to a brand that values handicrafts.
This kind of thing is quite difficult in Japan, where factory production is the norm, so I think you will feel a special feeling as a single piece of clothing.

First of all, this.
I don't know when it was made, but it's made from 100% vintage silk.
Each piece was hand-drawn by an Italian artist.
These sketches are all hand drawn after the clothes are sewn in the costume atelier and the shirt is completed.
That's why it's drawn past the back yoke joint.
The person in the sketch is, well, a great person. lol
If you are familiar with the brand, you may have seen hand-sketched shirts like this one.
I had a pretty strong image in mind, but this was the one that appealed to me the most out of all the ones I've seen in the past few seasons.
I thought that the overall balance of the sketch, the thickness of the lines, etc., gave off an absurd mood, so since this is the first season that we will be developing at our store, I would like to see how the size matches with customers. Order in total 4 sizes up to ~50. lol
I think it's amazing that there is so much variation in sizes for clothes in this price range and genre. lol
Therefore, I would be happy if our customers viewed this in a very positive light.
And I had my requests put into this shirt.
Basically, at ARCHIVIO JMRibot, all the buttons that come with clothes are vintage or antique buttons.
However, in the sample, all the buttons on this shirt were white vintage buttons that matched the silk fabric.
Of course, it was still good, but I wish it had a stronger mood. That's what I thought.
That's why I asked them to change the specifications to vintage buttons with different colors.
Then, they responded with the same price.
All the shirts have different buttons, so it's an assortment, but I'd be happy if you could think of it as an encounter.
Then, the buttonholes are made by cutting slits in the fabric and hand-holing them with thick silk thread.
One of the brand's characteristics is that the buttonhole threads hang down.
Speaking of the fabric, it's vintage silk, so I don't know the details, but it has a very unique texture.
I think it's a very Japanese fabric.
There's a traditional Japanese 100% silk fabric called Habutae, and I think it's very similar in feel to it.
In terms of silk, I think it's probably spun silk, but judging from the feel of the fabric, which resembles habutae, it might be raw silk.
Or maybe it's a mixture of spun silk and raw silk in the warp and weft.
If you look at it with a microscope, you can see it in one shot, but this is not possible right now.
Well, in any case, there is no doubt that this mood is a very high-quality silk fabric.

It's pure white, made from 100% silk, so you can see through it.
However, considering it's made of 100 silk, it doesn't feel thin at all.
I'm 167cm tall and weigh 50kg, so I'm a size 46 with a little extra space.
ARCHIVIO JMRibot is characterized by its compact size compared to Japanese brands.
Also, the sleeve length is not too long, which is unusual for overseas brands.
Well, it's long for someone like me who has extremely short hands. lol
Therefore, for those who like a sharp fitting, I think it will be easy to choose the size.

A floral-print shirt with an old-fashioned feel.
The touch of the silk fabric is different from the previous shirt, but like the previous one, it is printed on a vintage silk base.
The collar is made up of a base collar and an upper collar.
The balance of this collar creates a great mood when worn with the buttons open.
It has a unique old Italian feel to it.
It looks like it's complete without wearing an inner layer, with the front button opened as far as possible, revealing plenty of chest hair.
She also wears a size 46.
The sleeves are a little long for me, but I think it would fit pretty well for a normal person.
For those who like a more nostalgic atmosphere, this shirt might be a good choice.
In terms of size, it's a tighter fit than the hand sketched shirt I mentioned earlier.
In the sample, there was no shirt in this shape made of this fabric.
Out of the many variations of shirt shapes, I think we were able to combine something that matched this fabric to an extraordinary level.
If you like the mood of the pattern, the balance of the open collar, and the shape of the waist, you can't escape it. A shirt that looks like it could have been made. maybe.
Both the shirt in the sketch earlier and this shirt can be washed by hand.

It's the best.
Regarding vests, shirts come in four sizes, and I think most people can fit in a 46 vest, so I only carry one size 46 vest.
I think most vests have the back section made of lining fabric, but this seems to be a new style vest from a brand, and the front and back sections are made of the same fabric.
Therefore, it's good as an inner layer for a coat, but I think it's also easy to think of as an outer vest when you can wear it.
Also, I think the shape of the collar and the balance of the length make it the BEST VEST that doesn't look like a vest.
The color name is green, but I think it has a complex hue.
The blend is mainly cotton, but it is not a flimsy fabric, but an outer fabric. this is.
There are a distinctive number of buttons on the front.
All of the buttons are vintage, and the fabric is fairly thick, so each button has a strong impact that rivals the fabric.
Since the price is reasonable, it might be better to think of it as a "super item" that can be worn anytime other than midsummer.
However, the mood that only a brand like this can create is definitely alive and well.

This brand has a great reputation for its shirts, coats, and jackets, but in the Paris showroom, there was a jacket that was hung on the wall instead of on a hanger rack, giving off an even more aura.
It was a sample of this patchwork double-breasted jacket, and I couldn't forget its mood.
It's a bit more expensive than a regular jacket because of the incredible amount of work that goes into it, but I still wanted to introduce this jacket, so I ordered it.
Made of traditional hard tweed, the front, back, and sleeves are all patchwork.
I think this aura is quite archivio.
A balance that utilizes not only the structure of the base jacket but also the texture of each fabric.
You can really feel the unique craftsmanship of making clothes as an artisan brand.
I'm also wearing size 46.
It's impressive even when it's brand new, but I think there will be even more scenery waiting for us from here on out.

While the double-breasted jacket from earlier has an impact, this coat was ordered with the brand's mood and timeless universality in mind.
Although it is tweed, it is hand-spun and hand-woven, so it has a lot of bulge.
Along with that, it gives you a sense of security.
The buttons are of course mixed vintage buttons.
This is also a size 46.
There are coats from the brand that are quite long, but I thought this coat was the best when I considered the ease of handling and the overall amount of fabric compared to the volume.
I think the classic mood and the essence of the brand coexist in a good balance.
Although the fabric has a bulge to it, you can feel the core of the fabric itself, so I think it's best to start by thinking about how to make it fit your body.
