Due to the nature of the Araki Yuu brand, I really wanted to introduce each item one by one, but I couldn't, so this time I'll introduce the scarf at the end.
Araki Yuu deliveries were made on December 31st.
As I wrote in my previous blog, the lineup included the 4B jerkin jacket (sizes 0, 1, 2), knickerbockers (sizes 0, 1, 2), and scarves.
To be precise about the scarves...
"scarf & ring set"
I had ordered two types of this scarf: "Alashan cashmere" and "undyed cashmere."
And currently, all Araki Yuu items in stock at our store are as follows:
There are two "undyed cashmere" scarf & ring sets.
Originally, there were quite a few customers who came to our store and wanted knickerbockers.
These are pants I often wear when taking photos of myself in other brands' clothes.
And they are pants that I really love and use extremely heavily.
Therefore, I had previously informed customers that I was ordering knickerbockers from Araki Yuu.
My order quantity for them was clearly outnumbered by the demand from many customers. Before I could introduce them on this blog, I contacted the waiting customers on New Year's Eve morning to inform them of the delivery. Afterwards, everyone immediately came to the store, and they were able to get their hands on the knickerbockers, or customers who had planned for knickerbockers ended up purchasing the 4B jerkin jacket due to its overwhelming coolness after careful consideration. In such a dramatic turn of events, almost all of the Araki Yuu items delivered on New Year's Eve sold out on New Year's Eve itself.
And at the same time, all Araki Yuu items that were previously in stock at our store also sold out, leaving only the scarf & ring set, as mentioned above.
So, what I want to convey is...
Araki Yuu is an expensive brand of clothing for a domestic brand.
However, it can "move people's hearts" to this extent.
I have witnessed this firsthand for many years, and as a buyer myself, I have been continuously "moved" by what Araki Yuu creates.
That's why I truly want everyone to know about the Araki Yuu brand.
Because it's seriously amazing.
I can't create things.
Therefore, I highly respect people who create things in the ultra-domain.
Moreover, Araki Yuu's clothing level has clearly risen.
It's not "unchanging craftsmanship."
It has definitely leveled up.
That's what I think when I see the finished clothes.
Not many people can continue to create things like Araki Yuu.
I believe such brands should be recognized and spread.
Otherwise, wouldn't simple manufacturing become rampant?
And if brands like Araki Yuu didn't exist, I wouldn't be able to do anything, and there would be no reason for my existence at all.
So, in that sense, I'm grateful, and I feel like I'm growing through my work.
It's the New Year season, and my own time limit is approaching, so it's difficult to write at length, but I'll introduce the Araki Yuu "scarf & ring set" currently at CASANOVA&CO.

As mentioned earlier, it's undyed cashmere with a brass scarf ring.
Some of you may know this, but there was a "scarf & ring set" previously featuring an Araki Yuu scarf made from "Alashan cashmere fabric" by Katasuri Keori, fastened with a hexagonal scarf ring.
And in the brand's current collection sample, there was a different long, thin scarf made of undyed cashmere.
Seeing that, I could have just ordered it as is, but I thought if this "undyed cashmere" in its natural color was combined with Araki Yuu's "brass scarf ring," it would be breathtakingly cool.
So, I asked, "Can you make it?" and the reply was, "The thickness and stiffness are different from Alashan fabric, so I can't give a definite answer."
However, from there, they thought about and developed the size and shape of the scarf ring to hold the undyed cashmere fabric, and this time, they newly created two scarf & ring sets.
The moment I saw the delivered scarf, I was thrilled. Electrified.
They thought about the volume of the scarf to make the most of the fabric's thickness, and the size and shape of the ring to properly hold it, from scratch, and brought it to life.
Therefore, I want these to be held by two limited individuals.
The fabric is plain weave, so it has a crisp stiffness and an incredibly smooth surface.
A fabric in the natural color of cashmere fibers.
The scarf itself has a rather unusual shape.
This is aimed at the best balance Araki Yuu envisions when worn around the neck.
It's hard to tell from the photo, but the left and right sides are asymmetrical.
The scarf is made of three pieces of fabric sewn together, and antique lace is attached to the surface of the seams.
The back looks like this.
The ring's shape is a newly created "circular type" for this undyed cashmere fabric.
The brass scarf ring is hammered out of a brass rod, as if by a jeweler.
This is no longer within the realm of a fashion designer.
He's an incredibly skilled craftsman.
I can only imagine how long it must take.
And the undyed cashmere gathered tightly into that ring.
I envisioned this contrast.
Even new, cashmere itself has a very comfortable feel, but it's something you wear directly around your neck, and sometimes you wash it, right?
So, as you wash it, the texture of the cashmere will visibly improve even more over time.
It looks like this when worn.
It's warm enough in winter, and I think it can be used until early spring.
Also, I think there's a benefit in that just wearing it makes your outfit look a bit more put-together.
