But even so, it's full of unfamiliar words and you probably have no idea what it means.

Let me explain step by step.

First, about the fabric.

This is NEAT's original fabric called Fake Ripstop.

As the word “Fake” suggests, it does not have the ability to stop the fabric from rip, which is an inherent characteristic of ripstop.

However, in exchange, it has two features that are extremely desirable at this time.

The first one is this.

There are countless tiny holes in the fabric.

It is designed with holes in the four corners of the lattice pattern.

As you can probably imagine, these holes let a lot of wind through.

This allows for excellent breathability.

The day of the shoot was windless, perfect weather for photography, but I could feel the air flowing every time I moved, to the point that I mistakenly thought I was the only one feeling the wind.

It constantly releases moisture even when you're standing still, so you don't have to worry about your lower body getting sweaty.

The fabric image is a close-up so it looks like a large hole, but it's actually really small.

So you don't have to worry about your underwear showing through.

The second is water repellency.

We can't actually splash water on this. So...

You can see the water beading up and sliding over the fabric.

It's very surreal to see the pants just standing there as if nothing happened after splashing the water.

Naka, who is said to be the staff member who looks the closest to an office worker, tried out the cool biz style.

The pants style is Srousers, a new model released for 23AW.

These are a cross between American slacks and British trousers.

At NEAT, we believe that the essence of women's clothing lies somewhere between slacks and trousers, so we start by making women's pants, which are then adapted to men's sizes.

That's why you can see gimmicks everywhere that are different from those for men.

Narrow obi width, shallow back pockets, and slit pockets are commonly seen in women's clothing.

I thought it might be hot because my inner layer was long-sleeved, but it didn't bother me at all.

Because this jacket...

The lining is also fake ripstop.

This means that breathability is not compromised at all.

What's more, it's incredibly light.

It's hard to believe that it has a three-layer structure, with an outer layer, lining, and internal interlining between them.

I think it's common for jackets to be heavy and cause shoulder stiffness.

The front bodice has a built-in interlining to help maintain its shape, so even though the fabric is very light, it has a puffy, three-dimensional front.

The chest pocket is a type called a barca pocket.

Barca means boat in Italian.

It seems to me that many of these jackets made from functional fabrics have lost their masculine dignity in an effort to be too functional.

However, NEAT does a good job in this regard.

This is exactly what they mean when they say a name reflects its character.

When viewed from the side, the fabric falls straight down, giving it a dignified look.

The back view has a unique drape that makes this fabric look really cool.

If there's anything I can say as someone who was a businessman who was doing Cool Biz until a few years ago,

I wish I had found this a little earlier.

When I was a salaryman, I would wear imported suits in the fall and winter, but flimsy suits in the spring and summer.

It's pretty hard to find a setup that's both cool and neat.

However, I think there are actually a lot of people like me who have a difference between spring/summer and fall/winter.

For those people, this is a setup they will really like.

By the way, the pants are semi-finished so they do require hemming.
