[Announcement] daisuke tanabe season 04 preorder

Hello.

This is Noguchi from CASANOVA&CO.

Today, as the title suggests, is an announcement.

daisuke tanabe

season 04 preorder

2026.04.25 (SAT) - 2026.04.27 (MON)

This is the first time in about a year that this event is being held.

The preorder for daisuke tanabe.

This time, it will be an opportunity to order items from the 26AW season.

Even though it's almost May, I had to ask the brand to make an exception for this timing.

Because we had events almost every week from early March to early April. (laughs)

Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure I talked to Nakayama, one of our staff members, around this time last year.

We said, "Let's stop cramming in events almost every week like this because it's too hard on us."

...Isn't this déjà vu?

It's really quite mischievous of me to have gone through March this year with a schedule of events similar to, or even more packed than, last year's.

Well, last year around this time it was just Nakayama and me, so this year with four people, it's completely different.

Last year, we even had brand representatives stand in the store to ensure we had enough staff.

Well, putting aside reminiscing for a moment, even in "easy mode" with four people, the reason we pushed daisuke tanabe to late April wasn't just about balancing our schedule with the brand's. It was also because the collection's content was so rich that I needed sufficient time to truly engage with it.

Since we started featuring daisuke tanabe at CASANOVA&CO, I've made it a point to provide an overview of each season's collection theme on my blog, and while that certainly takes time, this time the "clothing" itself was exceptionally outstanding, more so than ever before.

Full throttle, no brakes, fearless, you could say.

Since I first met him, Tanabe-san often says that he creates each season as if there won't be a next one, that "every season is the last dance."

Those words don't indicate a lack of planning or sustainability; rather, they show his stance of pouring everything into each season after meticulously designing the brand's future vision.

But that's precisely why, when I saw season 04, the 26AW season, I felt anxious.

If I may speak frankly, I felt it was overdone.

I wondered, if you go full throttle like this, what will you do next?

I even wondered if he genuinely didn't intend to do a next season.

That's how over-the-top and uninhibited the collection was.

There's a unique tension, a tingling sensation, that comes with seeing such a "limitless collection."

As a buyer with a shallow career, I've only encountered such opportunities a handful of times, but I felt it most strongly with this daisuke tanabe collection.

However, Tanabe-san, who was speaking beside me, was completely his usual self.

"I had too many things I wanted to create, and if I was going to make them, I wanted to go all out."

"So I even developed original quilting for the lining. (laughs)"

It was that same quiet, passionate, and elusive demeanor as always.

It was very much like Tanabe-san, and I was relieved.

Alongside Tanabe-san, with his elusive demeanor, were:

A leather coat adorned with Karakul lamb fur,

A baby calf down jacket with ribs completely covered in leather,

An evolved version of the French raw sheepskin mouton featured in 25AW,

Rider's style, a specialty since the first season,

...and many other super heavy-duty garments.

I thought, "How did he manage to execute such a wide range of leather items in one season?" But even more striking were the "original fabrics" that shone brightly among them.

A double-weave fabric, cashmere on the outside and silk on the inside.

This fabric, which I had never seen or heard of, and which likely no one else would even attempt to create, was undoubtedly the "face" of this collection.

Up until now, Tanabe-san had been developing original materials utilizing silk in Kyoto, his roots, but this was the first time I felt that an original material had "stolen the show" from the leather items that had previously been the main focus.

It was truly the "star" and "face" of the collection.

For a brand like daisuke tanabe, which is rich in leather items and imported materials, it's not easy to elevate an original fabric to such a prominent position.

From this aspect, I strongly felt the brand's growth, and I keenly realized that my feeling of it being a "limitless collection" was, for Tanabe-san, simply the "next step" in the brand's steady progression, one step at a time.

Although, I do think the stride of that "one step" is overwhelmingly larger than that of the average person.

Well, I suppose the mechanism that allows him to take such a big step is Tanabe-san's characteristic drive and the speed at which he processes input into output.

A normal person couldn't do this.

The reason I often introduce Tanabe-san in store as a "true genius designer" and a "robust collection brand" is because I feel this every day.

Season 04, where his boundless talent shifted into an even higher gear.

I hope this will be an opportunity for you to meet Tanabe-san in person and see the clothes.

Tanabe-san is scheduled to be in the store on the first and second days.

Next time, I plan to summarize my overview of "atom," the collection theme for season 04.
