collection 003 launch event

We will hold it again this season.
An event with WONDER ROOM.
This is the third time, for three consecutive seasons since the brand's debut.
It's gradually becoming a regular event for the store, and the clothes have become indispensable in my own life as well.
The 1st season, which showed astonishing quality from its debut.
The 2nd season, which expanded the depth of potential of plain-stitch brushed fabric by incorporating the development background of Mr. Kakoi, who is responsible for fabric development, the brand's core.
This 3rd season marks the beginning of the brand's journey under the new name "WONDER ROOM ESSE."
ESSE = essential
It is an adjective meaning "indispensable" and "essential."
WONDER ROOM, a brand specializing in plain stitch, represented by T-shirt materials, and brushed fabric, a sweatshirt material, started with the aim of bringing "surprise" closer to human skin and daily life.
From the brand's inception, the quality and craftsmanship of the materials were at an unprecedented level, which was already "surprising." However, with collection 003, as the name ESSE suggests, I feel that the "WR/ESSE style" has been established.
And I believe that this style is an expression unique to them, and it can give an "impact" beyond "surprise" to end-users, including myself, and even to the industry as a whole.
And I am confident that this impact will eventually change not only the clothes but also the lives of those who acquire them.
With collection 003, not only the evolution of fabrics, but also the design, patterns, and production background have all been revamped.
All of these are to be "ESSE."
To move towards clothes that are more essential and indispensable.
While previous WONDER ROOM products have proven to be physically tough, I feel that with this change, they have gained toughness against changes in time and people.
No matter how much the times change, no matter how fast trends come and go, the "toughness against time" that is not swayed by these changes.
No matter how much our approach to fashion and clothes changes, the "emotional toughness" that seamlessly blends into our lives.
The "toughness of being simple" that allows you to wear it anytime and never get tired of it, no matter how much you wear it.
These are the "ESSE archetype" embodied not only by Mr. Kakoi's plain-stitch brushed fabrics, which are developed by crushing all possibilities, but also by the meticulous and rational design specifications and patterns of Mr. Hamada, who is the designer from this season, and the shift to in-house production where almost all items are sewn in Mr. Kakoi's atelier.
While products are gradually arriving, I was honestly quite surprised.
Compared to what I saw at the exhibition half a year ago, the appearance of the clothes is completely different. Seriously.
This season, while accelerating improvements at an incredible pace, the WR/ESSE style, which could not have been achieved otherwise, was established simultaneously.
I think you can have quite high expectations.
I think I will be able to introduce symbolic items that embody the "ESSE archetype" in about two days.
