Hello.
This is Noguchi from CASANOVA&CO.
Today's an announcement.
The first brand to be introduced on the 25AW blog was Nomàt yesterday, but the first brand for our 25AW events this season will be these people again.

WONDER ROOM 25AW launch event
2025.08.09 ~ 2025.08.17
This will be the second WONDER ROOM event, following the one in January of this year.
This time, Mr. Kakoi and Mr. Okamoto from the brand team will be joining us.
They are scheduled to be at the store on the first Saturday and second Sunday.
I introduced the brand in January, but thankfully, almost all the items sold out during the January event, so I haven't been able to talk about WONDER ROOM much for the past six months. I'm eager for everyone to know more, so please allow me to introduce it a little again this time.
However, in January, I wrote a blog post that transcribed our conversation in ultra-fine detail, which took 18 hours, so if you "want to know more!", please read that.
Even though it was a conversation, I only gave interjections. Lol.
Anyway, WONDER ROOM, the brand started in 2025SS.
This means this will be their first autumn/winter season.
The greatest feature of WONDER ROOM is that it is a brand of "jersey and fleece".
Furthermore, all fabrics used by the brand are original creations controlled by Mr. Kakoi.
This "jersey and fleece" created by Mr. Kakoi is quite incredible.
I'll introduce each fabric in tomorrow's blog and beyond to explain how amazing it is, but what's truly remarkable is his approach and methods of pursuit.
I managed to arrange for the test fabric samples created for WONDER ROOM's fabric development to be sent for display during the event, and they arrived today. The quantity was about five times what I imagined. Lol.

This is it.
And only a small portion of it.
I have no idea what's what. Lol.
I'll study up by the first day of the event.
What I do know is that each of these involves changing the yarn twist, subtly altering the yarn count, varying the way the yarn is thrown, tightening or loosening the stitch density, and so on.
The process of trying out every single possibility and aiming for excellence cannot be simply described as "testing."
WONDER ROOM textiles operate on this standard.
Instead of declaring something "the best" after just a few trials, Mr. Kakoi's style is to physically test every possible option and then choose the absolute best from among them. That's what he calls "the best."
This method requires an enormous amount of time, cost, effort, and a trusting relationship with the craftsmen who cooperate, so I believe only Mr. Kakoi can do it.
That is why WONDER ROOM's fabrics far exceed the general expectations for jersey and fleece.
The true power of "jersey and fleece" is completely unrelated to the feelings of "compromise" or "giving up" often associated with them in the apparel world.
This was truly an encounter that greatly changed how I approach and perceive clothing.
And, just like in the debut season, Mr. Matsumoto will be in charge of crafting these materials.
I feel that Mr. Matsumoto's designs and patterns are outputs that maximize the "sharp parts" of the fabric's charm.
That's why there are many parts that go beyond theory.
However, precisely because it's "jersey and fleece," I think the clothes are imbued with a great deal of "gentleness."
This "gentleness found at the pinnacle of sharpness" is one of the key phrases for experiencing WONDER ROOM, so remember it before you go to bed tonight. Lol.
Starting tomorrow, I'll be introducing the fabrics that will be available from WONDER ROOM this season.
If the items arrive in time for a photoshoot, there might be product images as well...?
I hope you're looking forward to it.
To be continued.
