I'm Noguchi from CASANOVA&CO.
Without further ado, let me introduce a new brand today.
While I say new, it's actually been available in stores for over two months now...
Since CASANOVA&CO started handling it this season, please allow me to call it new.
"BESTIAIRE"
The brand name is pronounced "Best-ee-ay."
You can probably find the brand's profile information if you search for it, but I think it's too unkind to ask you all to do that, so I'll give you a brief overview.
The brand's base is Amsterdam.
That's in the Netherlands.
The brand is run by two people.
While I won't mention their names, they are a Dutch fashion photographer who has been active in the Netherlands for a long time, and an Italian who grew up in an environment where clothing creation was familiar, with his mother running a tailor shop.
These two launched BESTIAIRE.
Given this background, while the brand is based in Amsterdam, all production is made in Italy.
However, in a good way, it has a very dignified appearance that is "not typically Italian."
Personally, I don't really have a preference for any particular country's style, nor am I particularly import-oriented or domestic-oriented, but the atmosphere of BESTIAIRE made me think, "This is an import brand that I'm excited about after a long time!"
The dignified form, rarely seen in Japanese brands, and the exquisite balance of casualness.
Textiles that aren't overly complex, yet feel high quality.
And solid sewing techniques and specifications.
It has a relatively sleek, urban appearance, so it might be a different genre from clothes that exude power, but I think it's very well-made and achieves a balance that appeals to connoisseurs.

First up is the set-up.
This is a jacket and pants featuring the brand's iconic pockets.
Since the top edge is slightly folded over and stitched to the body fabric, the pocket bags appear to be floating.
With hardly any exposed seams on the outside, the floating pockets give a very modern impression.
The collar has both an upper and lower collar, but it doesn't give a stiff, tailored impression.
If anything, the form might be closer to a work-style coverall.
Also, a characteristic of BESTIAIRE is the super long brand tag.
Be careful not to let it dangle from your neck.
The fabric is 100% nylon.
It's water repellent, so a little rain shouldn't be a problem.
Even though it's 100% nylon, it's not a shiny fabric; it's a very light fabric with a nice texture.
Since it's going to be a rainy season soon, I've prepared this as a casual set-up for those times.
At 178cm and 60kg, size 2 for both top and bottom fits perfectly.
The length is slightly shorter relative to the width, so even worn as a set-up, it doesn't feel overly formal.
However, it's well-made and the underlying pattern technique is incredibly sophisticated, so it just comes together beautifully when you wear it.
The pockets really make a statement.
The balance is excellent.
Although the jacket is already out of stock in some sizes, I think it's a great option for those who find the right fit.

STRAIGHT POCKET PANTS

Next up is this.
These are pants also characterized by their pockets.
But the focus isn't really the pockets here.
You can get a glimpse of it even on the hanger, but it's this form.
When I put these pants on, I felt like I understood a little bit of what BESTIAIRE is trying to express.
Please take a look at the worn photos for now.
No explanation is even necessary at this level...
360 degrees, absolutely no blind spots.
This form without darts or tucks.
This is irresistible. Too irresistible.
The fabric is 100% cotton poplin.
The color is SAND, and among the three colors available, I chose the one that seems most difficult to wear, but please let me justify it by saying that the TOP dye really shines through.
But personally, I think these colored pants are incredibly stylish.
Because the fabric feels like shirt-fabric pants that would be comfortable to wear in mid-summer, I think it's perfect for wearing lightly.
Or rather, the form is so extreme that this kind of color balances it out better, I think.
When I saw this picture, I thought my butt had disappeared.
Looking from diagonally behind, you can indeed tell there's a butt, but the lines of the pants are so beautifully crafted that they erase the butt's presence.
I really want you to experience it.

FISHER VEST

This season's BESTIAIRE features a slightly heavier fabric.
I ordered this vest because I thought it would be a perfect match, like a work jacket with the sleeves cut off.
Actually, even though it's already sold out, I had imagined pairing this vest with the short-sleeved overall made of the same fabric as the set-up.
The balance of a short-sleeved overall with a sleeveless vest, a kind of "incomplete" feeling, was really good...
Well, it's my fault for not introducing it sooner.
This vest also features the iconic pocket style.
As you can glimpse, BESTIAIRE's clothes are basically piped on the inside.
Or, for areas or garments where piping isn't suitable, they use beautifully neat merrow stitching.
While a garment isn't good simply because it's made that way, I believe that attention to such details contributes to the overall beauty of the clothing.
BESTIAIRE pays close attention to those details.
BESTIAIRE's "sewing lines" are also very clean.

SHORT SHIRT TYPEWRITER

A short-sleeved shirt with an approachable balance, yet it's still a BESTIAIRE balance.
Made from TOP-dyed 100% cotton typewriter fabric, it has a moderate density but is very smooth.
For clothes with this kind of balance, the atmosphere of the fabric and accessories is extremely important.
It's a relatively loose fit.
However, we've skipped size 2 and offer sizes 1, 3, and 4.
It's fine for petite individuals to choose size 3 for an oversized look. Or, for those with a standard build, size 1 for a more compact fit.
Rather than trying to find the "right" one, I think it's perfectly fine to choose a size freely.
In the photos, Noguchi is wearing size 3.
Although the color name is SAND, same as the pants and vest, this short-sleeved typewriter shirt leans more towards greige.
It's a very alluring short-sleeved shirt.

LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRT CREPON

Finally, this one.
It's like a "woven long-sleeved T-shirt" made from 100% cotton fabric with a crinkled texture.
Since it's 100% woven cotton, it doesn't stretch. To assist with putting it on and taking it off, the back has a concealed zipper that opens and closes.
I get the impression that pullover T-shirt styles made from woven fabric aren't very popular, but I actually quite like them.
It's not as stiff as a collared shirt, and it doesn't look too relaxed or cozy like a jersey cut-and-sew—it strikes a perfect balance.
But precisely because of that, there are very few garments that can be considered highly complete as a single piece of clothing.
This BESTIAIRE piece is a hit.
As you can see, the body length is short, and the sleeve length is long.
That balance is superb.
Please consciously, deliberately, and casually roll up your sleeves when wearing it.
The contrast with the tension of the calculated form is wonderful.
This is the SAND one.
I didn't have time to change my pants, so I'm wearing the same KAKAN pants as when I wore the SKY color. Unexpectedly, the subtle difference in beige looks really good.
These KAKAN pants are truly fantastic, so I think they'd be great for women or slender men.
Please roll up your sleeves casually like this.
That is all I ask.
When viewed from a distance, the BESTIAIRE pockets really do their job well.
I think this is BESTIAIRE's strength in balancing things.
